How do I check my battery health?
Click the Apple menu → System Settings → Battery → Battery Health. "Service Recommended" means it's time.
Is a swollen battery dangerous?
It can be. Stop charging it, keep it on a hard surface, and bring it in as soon as you can.
Will I lose my files?
No, a battery replacement doesn't touch your data. A Time Machine backup first is always a good idea.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, 90 days on the battery and our work from pickup. Normal battery wear over time isn't a defect.
