Common questions
Does putting it in rice work?
No. Rice doesn't pull water out from inside the device, and its dust and starch can get into the ports. Turn the device off and bring it in.
My phone dried out and works again. Am I fine?
Not necessarily. Liquid leaves minerals behind that keep corroding the board for days or weeks. A cleaning now can prevent a dead phone later.
Can you always get my data back?
Not always, and we'll be upfront about it. Recovery depends on how badly the board is damaged. We'll tell you your chances before any repair work starts.
How long does it take?
Cleaning and diagnosis usually take 1–2 days. Data recovery is quoted per job once we know what we're dealing with.
